XYZPrinting

Market leader XYZPrinting dominated the 3D printing floorspace with a booth that showcased their new range of printers, their broad material portfolio, and their 3D scanners.

DWS

Italian company DWS pioneered desktop stereolithography in the 1990s with the XFAB, which is now in its fifth iteration as the XFAB 3500 (pictured left). DWS are vertically integrated, manufacturing and distributing printers, with a range of compatible resins and the software.

Boston-based Formlabs had a strong showing at CES 2018, with a large booth demonstrating not just their own most recent advances in 3D printing, but also showcase their partnerships utilising their printers.

Glowforge

Within the 3D printing section, there was one not-quite a 3D printer company that really stood out: Glowforge who develop 3D laser cutters.

Markforged

One year after Markforged announced it was introducing a new metal printer, the new Metal X printer was showcased where consumers could see it in action.
