On 1st October, IDTechEx attended the TCT Show covering all aspects of 3D Printing in Birmingham, UK. There were officially 10,000 delegates over 3 days, and 187 exhibitors, including all the major players in the industry.

Sciaky

Sciaky Inc. is a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries. It was established by 1939 as a provider of advanced welding systems and custom welding services. MicroOLED

MicroOLED is a French manufacturer of OLED microdisplays for applications in digital viewfinders, head-up displays and wearables. The company was founded in 2007 and started production in 2012. The company is located in Grenoble in the scientific campus of CEA.

Sekisui Chemical Co Ltd

Sekisui is mostly researching barrier layers for PV applications although displays is also in the company's view. Sekisui is hoping to leverage its existing know-how in a variety of deposition techniques to enter the barrier market.

Barrier layers for flexible electronics - a $200m market by 2024

BOE

BOE started in 1993 as Beijing Orient Electronics Group Co, manufacturing electron tubes. BOE is now the biggest LCD panel manufacturer in China, ahead of 5 other manufacturers. They have LCD fabs in Beijing, Hefei, Ordos, Chengdu and He Bei. Since 2011, BOE has invested in building AMOLED production capacity. This profile is about their effort in AMOLED displays.

Incore Systemes

INCORE's expertise is concentrated around imaging systems and optical methods for 100% surface inspection of continuous or discontinuous processes. The core activity of the company is to design and manufacture automatic surface inspection systems based on line scan cameras, high performance illumination and computer technology with their proprietary real time and post processing software solutions.

PV NanoCell

PV Nanocell is an Israeli company developing conductive inks for digital (inkjet) printing. Their inks are based on spherical single-crystal nanoparticles of silver or copper.
