In 2016 61 million electric vehicles will be sold - from electric cars to planes to industrial vehicles, creating a total market of $123 Billion. That will rise to $182 billion in 2020, based on the latest survey of the industry conducted by IDTechEx Research in the report Electric vehicle Forecasts, Trends and Opportunities 2016-2026.
