Fraunhofer

It was developed through a collaboration between Fraunhofer, Rostock University, Hahn-Schickard, Hamburg Applications and Healthcare X.0. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi)

LifeSense Group - a company based in Eindhoven, Netherlands - develops products for monitoring urinary incontinence. Carin is its biggest product (it is for adult women) but at Medica 2019 the company was promoting its new product, Oopsie Heroes.

IEE is an automotive company based in Luxembourg. They have developed a smart shoe sensor from their expertise in developing pressure sensors for the automotive industry.

Aktiia

Aktiia has developed an ambulatory blood pressure monitoring wrist-worn device.

Health Care Originals

IDTechEx analyst Nadia Tsao spoke with HCO Co-founder Sharon Samjitsingh. HCO have developed the ADAMM-RSM, a respiratory monitoring patch that is worn on the upper chest.

Zensorium

Zensorium is a medical device company based in Singapore. It was exhibiting Self, a wrist-worn connected device, called Self, for monitoring stress and sleep apnoea that has been on the market since early 2019.

Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology

The Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) is a Swiss R&D centre based in Neuchatel. It consists of approximately 400 people, 50 of whom operate in healthcare.
