Speaker Biography (Lauriane Thorner)Lauriane D. Thorner received her Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA), France and received the M.Sc. degree in Control Systems from Imperial College, London, U.K. respectively in 2007 and 2008. She is a PhD student at Imperial College. Her main interests include micro-generators and energy harvesting from marine waves.
