Speaker Biography (Darryl Cotton)

Darryl P. J. Cotton received the Beng (Hons) degree from Newcastle University, UK in 2003 and the PhD degree from the University of Southampton in 2008, for a thesis on thick-film sensors for prosthetic hand applications.
 
He spent three years as a research associate at the University of Cambridge, developing enabling technologies for stretchable electronics in collaboration with Nokia, and has recently joined the company as researcher. Dr. Cotton has a number of publications in the fields of materials and sensors.
