Speaker Biography (Pravesh Parmanand)

Pravesh Parmanand joined Marlow Industries in 1993 and completed his BSEE in 1998 at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently a senior electrical engineer within the Product and Process R & D group, focusing on the integration of thermoelectric generators with electronic power conditioning/management and energy storage. Pravesh has experience in the design of both thermoelectric modules and systems, in addition to extensive experience designing thermoelectric test systems and processes. This experience, combined with his EE background, provides unique expertise to help create power generation system solutions that maximize power from thermal energy, for Marlow Industries' customer applications in Energy Harvesting, Waste Heat Recovery, and Direct & Co-Generation.
