Mr Jim Bierschenk, Director of Global Technology
Nov 19, 2014.
Wireless sensor networks continue to proliferate as does the desire to utilize thermal gradients that exist throughout our industries and homes to create power sources for a wide variety of sensor applications. These new thermal power sources marry the latest low-voltage step-up, power conditioning, electrical storage and charge management electronics with low cost thermoelectric technology, proven in volume production with unsurpassed quality and reliability. Thermal energy harvesting offers unparalleled scalability, enabling harvested power outputs that range from hundreds of microWatts to Watts depending on the size, heat source and temperatures available.
