Speaker Biography (Wei-Hsin Hsin Liao)

Dr. Wei-Hsin Liao is a Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he is also the founding director of the Smart Materials and Structures Laboratory. Dr. Liao currently serves as the Programme Director, MSc Programme in Biomedical Engineering. He received several best paper awards from ASME, IEEE, and IMechE. Dr. Liao is a Fellow of ASME and IOP. Dr. Liao currently serves as an Associate Editor for ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics as well as Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, and on the editorial board of Smart Materials and Structures.
