Speaker Biography (Mohammed Ibrahim)

Mohammed Ibrahim joined the Thermo Fisher Scientific in January 2011 as the Applications Scientist for Raman Spectroscopy. Prior to joining Thermo, Mohammed was a postdoctoral scholar at University of Washington, Seattle, and at Princeton University, in professor Thomas Spiro's group. His research focus was on the structure and function of metalloproteins by using resonance Raman (RR) and time-resolved resonance Raman (TR3) spectroscopies. He completed his PhD from Marquette University in Analytical Chemistry with an emphasis in biophysical chemistry and his MS from Nanjing University in China in Analytical Chemistry.
