Having worked in senior positions for Philips, Orange, & France Telecom followed by his own business development consultancy DRL Associates, David set up Vuzix Europe Ltd in 2007 using his extensive experience and networking in Strategy, Administration, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution across the EMEA Region.
Since 2007 the Vuzix business both in consumer and business products has grown significantly, with representation and sales now in 52 countries and growing, managed from the UK. During this period he has over seen the introduction of new and exciting technologies including VR / AR and now approaching the "holy grail" of HMD with waveguide technology in 2015
