Speaker Biography

Andreas Schaller joined Motorola in 1995. Since 1998 Andreas is working for Motorola Labs, PRRC-Europe, based in Taunusstein, Germany. Currently he is managing the Motorola Labs research area "Short Range RF Communications" in Europe. In this function he is actively participating in the EU funded RFID R&D Projects Polyapply ( Printed RFID's) and StoLPaN ( NFC in Retail ). Andreas has a Motorola Six Sigma Black Belt and holds several patents. Prior to joining Motorola, Andreas received an MSc Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.
