Therefore, we present some promising approaches of our research, how to add security features to IoT devices and still make it easy to use for the end users. Speaker Biography (Rainer Matischek)Dr. Rainer Matischek is Staff Research Engineer at Infineon Technologies Austria AG Development Center of Graz. He joined Infineon 2004 during his Master studies and specialized in the area of embedded and RFID systems. During his Master Thesis 2006, he started his first research in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things. Subsequently, in the scope of various related EU-funded and national research projects he focused his PhD research in the area of wireless communication and real-time protocols. Besides a few years working in the firmware product development he finished his PhD 2011, and finally joined the research department, responsible for various research projects in the area of wireless embedded systems.
