Presentation Summary

  • The crucial advantage of pi-conjugated organic semiconductors is that they can be processed in solution at room temperature and at ambient pressure. This feature should be most suitable for the use in "printed electronics" that is now being explored worldwide for the manufacture of large-area and flexible electronic products.
  • Here we present our recent studies on organic field-effect transistors that are regarded as the most fundamental building block for the flexible electronics device applications.
