Mr. Larry Blue is currently the Vice President and General Manager of the RFID Tag Business unit for Symbol Technologies. Prior to the Symbol acquisition, Mr. Blue was Vice President of Development Engineering for Matrics. During that time, Mr. Blue was active in the development of the EPC Global Gen 2 UHF specification as a member of the Hardware Action Group and in helping to define the EPC Standards Ratification process. Mr. Blue has over 20 years of technical management experience at both large and small companies, including IBM and Hughes, spanning products in communications, semiconductors, networking and multimedia technologies.

 

Mr. Blue holds an MSEE from Duke University, and lives in Maryland.
