Speaker Biography (Lidija Sekaric)

Dr. Lidija Sekaric manages the Photovoltaics Team DOE's SunShot Initiative, and its portfolio spanning applied research at universities and national laboratories, start-up incubation, and manufacturing scale-up programs. Prior to joining SunShot, she served as a technical advisor in the Office of the Under Secretary of Energy and as a technical and market advisor on world's largest distributed solar generation projects. Lidija spent 12 years doing research in nanoscale science and engineering - her research accomplishments include bests and firsts in devices for photonics, electronics, nanomechanics and sensors. Lidija has over 40 scientific publications, and holds 14 U.S. patents. She received a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cornell University.
