Ticketing in Public Transportation (RFID Europe 2010)

Marcus is responsible for business development and management of the continental European region with emphasis on Germany and other mainland Europe countries. In 2009 he established an industry experienced technical team in Germany to bid and execute e-ticketing projects, winning the first VDV-KA e-ticketing back-office project. Cubic also provides java-based mobile phone ticketing services to a number of customers.

 

Prior to this appointment, he was European finance director for Cubic. Marcus is experienced in a number of international markets and a variety of engineering industries.

 

He earned a BSc (Hons) degree in business studies from the University of Bradford UK, and is a chartered certified accountant, and a chartered secretary and administrator.
