Speaker Biography (Marko Mattila)Dr. Marko Mattila holds currently a position in Electria, a R&D Unit of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. His expertise areas include new applications of RFID, low power RF communications and e-paper displays. Before he joined Metropolia at 2008, he worked at Helsinki University of Technology as a researcher and project manager for 10 years. Since mid 2009 he has been responsible of one of the most innovative RFID -projects in Finland, - VisualRFID. With multiple industrial partners this project develops new kind of RFID tags with included e-paper display to be used on people flow management.
