Originally trained as a biologist, she shifted focus to biophysics during her Doctoral studies and has worked in the biosensor and microfluidics fields for the past ten years in both academia and industry. Currently based in Basel, Switzerland, she is involved in technology discovery and diligence processes leading to the integration of emerging technologies into Abbott Diagnostics businesses.
