Speaker Biography (Tomasz Zawada)

Tomasz Zawada, holds a PhD degree in Microelectronic Engineering, MSc degree in Electronic Engineering and MBA degree in Management of Technology. Tomasz has more than 10 years of experience in academic and industrial research in the fields of ceramic microsystems, microfluidics and piezoelectric materials and devices. He has authored and co-authored more than 60 scientific publications and reports. Currently, he is working as Engineering and Research Manager at Meggitt A/S, Denmark. His main professional interest is focused on applications of piezoelectric thick films in sensors, transducers and energy harvesting. Privately, he is sharing his free time between travelling and playing electric guitar.
