Speaker Biography (Pekka Tolvanen)

Pekka Tolvanen is founder and Vice CoB of Myontec, the company behind smart clothing used by professionals in sports and ergonomics worldwide. He is co-inventor of clothing embedded sensor technology to analyze muscular performance in real time, outside laboratories. The first commercial Mbody™ product was introduced in 2013. The latest service concept, ErgoAnalysis™ for occupational health, was launched in 2018.
 
Prior his career in Myontec, Tolvanen worked in several positions in healthcare and sports companies introducing a number of innovative products to medical and scientific use. Pekka Tolvanen holds a M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics from the University of Helsinki.
