Smart Clothing For Ergonomics Assessment In Real Working Conditions (Wearable Europe 2019)

The presentation describes content of ErgoAnalysis™ concept and how Myontec is using it to provide valuable information to various industry to reduce problems caused by musculoskeletal disorders and other occupational health issues. Myontec is looking for service providers and partnerships to scale up the business model in Europe and USA.

Pekka Tolvanen is founder and Vice CoB of Myontec, the company behind smart clothing used by professionals in sports and ergonomics worldwide. He is co-inventor of clothing embedded sensor technology to analyze muscular performance in real time, outside laboratories. The first commercial Mbody™ product was introduced in 2013. The latest service concept, ErgoAnalysis™ for occupational health, was launched in 2018.

 

Prior his career in Myontec, Tolvanen worked in several positions in healthcare and sports companies introducing a number of innovative products to medical and scientific use. Pekka Tolvanen holds a M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics from the University of Helsinki.
