Structural Thermodynamics With Topology Optimization (Printed Electronics USA 2016)

Mr Tsuyoshi Nomura PhD, Senior Researcher
TOYOTA Central R&D Labs., Inc

Presentation Summary

This study deals with thermal guiding mechanism implemented on surface of a structure. The thermal guide is made of ultra-thin metal-insulator composite and it is fabricated by laser ablation and electroplating. The pattern is designed by vectorial topology optimization and self-organizing reaction diffusion equation known as Turing system.
