Presentation Summary

PST sells the ability to put temperature sensing into everything, anywhere. At the heart of its award winning technology is a printed negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor. Since 2010 PST and its customers have built on this foundation to develop a suite of integrated sensing systems across all end-use markets, using different back-end technologies including both printed and conventional electronics.

Speaker Biography (David Britton)

David Britton is a founding director and shareholder of PST Sensors and serves as Chief Technical Officer and acting Chief Operating Officer, in which roles he has been instrumental in product development and IP protection, as well as sales and marketing. He is a former Professor in the Physics Department and Director for Capacity Building and Innovation in the NanoSciences Innovation Centre at the University of Cape Town. He is a past chair of the South African Nanotechnology Initiative (SANi), and was instrumental in drafting the National Nanotechnology Strategy Document.

Company Profile (PST Sensors)

PST Sensors logo
PST Sensors has developed a suite of temperature sensing systems, these include fully flexible and large area temperature sensing systems and sensor arrays. At the heart of PST Sensors' product range is a silicon nanoparticle negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor which can be printed on almost any material including paper, fabric and polymer film.
