Energy Harvesting with Anylight™ Solar (Energy Harvesting & Storage USA 2015)

Where should photovoltaic (PV) energy harvesting be used? This session will look at indoor and outdoor use cases, complete with integration and networking considerations. Solar cells or micro-cells can power devices in buildings, consumer electronics and the environment - to make them more durable, connected and intelligent.

Attendees will get a vibrant review of applications and barriers to adoption in: agriculture, botanical gardens, urban infrastructure, landslide detection, smart homes and unwired controllers on the factory floor, plus a comprehensive review of PV energy harvesting, including sober assessments of organic and dye-sensitized PV cells, and a sense of the related electronics required to harvest and use the power.
