In 2016 the wearables dynamic will shift, and true applications for wearables will be realised, primarily by businesses. Innovation and growth in the market, particularly around augmented reality smart glasses, will be driven by businesses that see an opportunity to use them to streamline processes and add value to their operations.
Valerie Riffaud‐Cangelosi, new market development manager at Epson Europe will explain how, thanks to Moverio smart glasses technology, Epson drives this trend through innovation.

Valerie Riffaud Cangelosi is New Market Development Manager for Epson Europe. She is responsible for the development and implementation strategies of new Epson business areas focusing on Smart Glasses, Label Printers, and Sensing technologies for business applications throughout the EMEAR region.
Valerie joined Epson in 2002 as Product Manager for the French subsidiary. This was followed by a variety of roles within Epson including European Supplies Business Manager, Projectors Business Manager and Senior Manager - Product Management.
Prior to joining Epson, Valerie began her career in Sony as a sales representative for the Consumer Electronics Group, before moving to the role of Product Manager in the Recording Media Division. Valerie also worked as a Marketing Manager for a French start-up company, Future Sound Technologies, developing software solutions for connected devices, creating the first connected HiFi device aimed at streaming music, I-Muse.
A French native, from Bordeaux, Valerie graduated from Normandy Business School with a Masters degree in Marketing followed by a semester of MBA classes at Dalhouse University, Canada.
Valerie is married and is passionate about Scuba diving as well as travelling the world.
