The first visible polymerising 3D printers have been launched. This concept is scalable; 98" 8k screens and now in production. What are the ramifications of this and can it answer the questions about the high cost, low manufacturing scale and poor functionality of 3D printed parts?
講演者の経歴 (Paul Holt)
Paul Holt did a degree in Mathematics at Bristol University and then spent his early working life as a Eurobond dealer in the City before ending up in chemical manufacture. Photocentric started in 2002 with a patented concept- packaging photopolymer for stamp manufacture, which we called imagepac. We then manufactured the photopolymer itself, made stamps from it and started a US business. We are a photopolymer manufacturer involved in all forms of this chemistry and invest heavily in R&D. We have invented a new method of 3D printing using visible light to harden photopolymer and commercialised it as the Liquid Crystal 3D printer range. The business is growing rapidly and has a strong product pipeline.
