By enabling electric vehicles (EVs) to act as distributed energy resources, V2G transforms the way individuals, fleets, and even cities use energy. And since V2G helps integrate renewable energy sources and can save EV owners money through participation in energy markets, it will help accelerate the mass adoption of EVs. Nuvve's global V2G deployments have successfully proven these benefits and more, including grid, building, and vehicle-level services. In this presentation, you'll hear solutions to the challenges in adopting this important technology and how Nuvve is paving the way to a greener future for EVs and our planet. Speaker Biography (Gregory Poilasne)Gregory Polaisne has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience, spanning technology development, marketing, sales and customer support as well as business operations. Previously, he served as CEO of DockOn, a company dedicated to delivering an Always On wire-free world through a series of patented products and technologies. Gregory was also a founder of Ethertronics, an antenna pioneer that was acquired by AVX, and has also held positions at Rayspan Corp. and Kyocera Wireless. Gregory has an MBA from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rennes, France. Company Profile (Nuvve)Nuvve is a San Diego-based, green-tech company leading the intelligent integration of electric vehicles into the grid. Our vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology - GIVeTM (Grid Integrated Vehicle) - is a global, commercially-available platform that transforms electric vehicles (EVs) into grid-integrated energy storage resources, while guaranteeing the expected level of charge at the time the driver needs it for transportation. By bridging the gap between transportation and energy, we are helping accelerate the adoption of EVs, encouraging the integration of renewable energy sources, and helping stabilize the grid.
