Speaker Biography (Joseph A Marshall)

Mr. Marshall is a Structural Designer and focal for Direct Write and Printed Electronics at The Boeing Company. Mr. Marshall has over 12 years of experience designing structurally integrated electronics systems for rotor craft, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's), Commercial and Military fixed wing aircraft, and space vehicles.
Mr. Marshalls research has focused primarily on novel uses of commercially developed direct write and electronics printing processes and technologies primarily for aerospace applications. Mr. Marshall been awarded over 16 patents in the area of structurally integrated electronics including; signal networks, power networks, sensors, antennas and arrays.
Mr. Marshall attended the University of Massachusetts in Lowell Massachusetts and graduated with a BSME in 1997. Mr. Marshall is currently working to complete an antenna engineering certification with Georgia Technical Institute. Mr. Marshall is active in the printed electronics industry and is constantly seeking out new technologies which will enable the next generation of aerospace structures.
