Speaker Biography (Thomas Racette)

Tom Racette is the Director of RFID Market Development for Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division. Tom has an extensive knowledge in item level tagging having pioneered, worked and eventually led the $158 million EAS source tagging business during his eleven year tenure with ADT/Sensormatic (a Division of Tyco). At the time of his departure from ADT in late 2005, 4.5 billion EAS tags were being applied on an annual basis to thousands of consumer goods products around the globe. Prior to joining ADT/Sensormatic, Tom held leadership roles at IBM, CF Airfreight, Weyerhaeuser and The Stanley Works Company.
