Speaker Biography (Christine Walsh)Christine Walsh is a Project Manager with Vinci Technologies for Ultra High Vacuum systems and components. In this role, she is Responsible for Product Development of a series of high sensitivity permeameters designed to evaluate Ultra High Barrier materials using Helium, Oxygen, Water and other gases as probe molecules (See QHV-4 Rapid Helium Permeameter). Drawing from a background in applied physics and several years' experience in metrology equipment, her goal is to provide reliable, ergonomic fully automated systems to meet customer specifications Company Profile (Vinci Technologies)![]() Vinci Technologies is an independent French company, specializing in the design, manufacturing and marketing of instrumentation, for the high vacuum and Oil & Gas industries. Based in Paris, the company has 100+ employees including one subsidiary in the US and one affiliate in India. The vacuum division of the company designs complete thin film analysis & deposition systems (thermal and e-beam evaporation, sputtering, pulse laser deposition, Molecular Beam Epitaxy, Chemical Vapor Deposition, Transfer tubes, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy,...) and addresses all technical requests of the wordwide nanotechnology centers. The most recent edition to the vacuum product range is the Helium Permeameter, QHV-4 aimed at providing rapid analysis of Ultra High Barrier films. |
