IDTechEx the leader in emerging technology research and market analysis today announced that its Printed Electronics USA event scheduled for Nov 19-20 will feature Adidas, Fairchild, Jaguar Land Rover, Samsung as well as hundreds of companies from around the world that are commercializing emerging technologies.
Over 2500 CEOs, product designers, scientists, engineers, journalists and industry professionals will converge in the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley to explore the advances in emerging technologies including printed electronics, wearable technologies, energy harvesting, the Internet of Things and 3D printing.
Opening the event will be Samsung's Chris Turkstra, Head of Product & Strategy, covering the progress made by the consumer electronics giant, in technologies ranging from OLEDs to IoT.
This will be followed by Dr Hassonjee, VP Innovation at Adidas discussing the huge new opportunity in wearable technology - and specifically how Adidas plans to use the enabling technologies. Ashutosh Tomar of Jaguar Land Rover Research will then discuss how these technologies are improving cars, enabling new features and new designs.
The President and Chief Operating Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor, Vijay Ullal, will open the tradeshow, featuring approximately 200 exhibitors showcasing all these technologies. Special features include "Demonstration Street", containing the World's largest collection of printed electronics based products in one place, in addition to seeing devices being made in the "Manufacturing Street"
