2AI - Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory

Applied Artificial Intelligence (2AI) Laboratory, founded in February 2018, is based at Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave in Barcelos, Portugal. The research group's focus is to augment the knowledge, information and interaction at the disposal of agents, robots and humans to improve their performance. It applies machine learning techniques, spanning natural language processing, deep-learning and computer vision, to extract information and provide knowledge to potentiate intelligent decision automation systems and human-AI collaboration.
