The ExOne company are a licensee of the MiT powder-bed inkjet approach, as are 3D Systems since their acquisition of ZCorp in 2012. The companies employ the approach with different materials however. In the case of 3D Systems these are advanced composites, and in the case of ExOne, powders of metals, glass, and sand.
