Presentation Summary

Batteries plays are key to the development of applications from e-mobility to implants. All solid state batteries are the next wave of innovation bringing higher capacity (driving range), higher power density (fast charging), and uncompromised safety. The key enabler is the solid electrolyte. We'll present our solid electrolyte and how it will enable the 1000 Wh/L battery target.

Bart Onsia is Business Development Manager for imec's solid state battery and thin film photovoltaics research activities. He holds a degree in chemical engineering and has almost 20 years of experience in advanced semiconductor research and its valorisation.
