Sakuu Corporation

Sakuu is an American developer of additive manufacturing processes and equipment for Li-ion and beyond Li-ion batteries. IDTechEx spoke to Sakuu about its technological innovations and market approach.

Sakuu Corporation announced the commencement of its pilot line and learning center. Sakuú's pilot line will have the capability to produce up to 2.5 MWh per year of solid-state batteries and in the future will also serve as a customer learning center for its advanced additive manufacturing platform.

Sakuu Corporation announced that it has developed a 3Ah lithium-metal solid-state battery that equals or betters current lithium-ion batteries.

Founded in 2016, Sakuu Corporation (formerly KeraCel) is a US additive manufacturing company based in San Jose, California. It offers multi-material and multi-method 3D printing platforms for high volume production. Customers can build complext active devices including solid-state battery, micro-fluidic devices, sensors by the platform.
