Giuseppe Coppola (44) is Senior Director, responsible for the development of new business and accounts within Philips Applied Technologies, at its headquarters (Eindhoven, Netherlands). Since 1996 he has been working for Philips covering several line/staff international senior management positions within its Innovation and Emerging Business division. Previously (1988-1996), he worked for Alcatel Defence Communication Systems. He has been actively participating to global innovation developments as author of patents and technical/scientific publications, speaker to conferences/round-tables and member of various innovation initiatives and collaborative projects. He holds a full marks degree in Electronic Engineering from the Technical University of Bari (Italy).
