Electroactive Fluorinated Polymers For Organic Electronics (Printed Electronics USA 2017)

Piezotech, an Arkema group company develops Electroactive Fluorinated polymers and inks for organic electronics. These materials converts mechanical and thermal energy into electrical energy and vice-versa. We will present recent developments and emerging applications such as medical and touch sensors, printed speakers, haptic interfaces or solid-state cooling.

Fabrice Domingues Santos is born in 1970. He is graduated from Paris School of Physic & Chemistry (ESPCI). He got his PhD from Paris Pierre & Marie curie University in Polymer Physics. In 2000 he joined Arkema R&D. Since 2010 he is Piezotech CEO, an Arkema group company dedicated to the development of electroactive fluorinated polymers.

Piezotech RT : a range of relaxor polymers with electrostrictive properties for applications in actuators (Haptics, microfluidics ...), Electrocalorics and high-k dielectrics.
