Recognizing Company Development and Success

The IDTechEx Electric Vehicles Land Sea Air Awards recognizes company development and success. The award ceremony will be held at the special awards dinner on March 27, 2012.

The Awards are hosted by IDTechEx, a leader in providing independent global research and analysis on the development and applications involved in the Future of Electric Vehicles. If you would like your company to be recognized for outstanding achievements in one of the following categories, simply follow the instructions below. Any company operating within the Electric Vehicles industry is welcome to apply.

You can enter one or multiple of the following categories - please complete one form for each:

1. Imaginative Vehicle Award - land, sea or air

This award will be given to a company which has developed and launched an imaginative vehicle either for land, sea or air in the last 24 months (March 2010 - March 2012) and is in the process of bringing it to market. The category will be assessed on the technical development of the product, its market potential, and benefits it brings over alternatives.

2. New Vehicle Application Award - land, sea or air

This is the award given to an actual commercial success with an end-product in the last 24 months (March 2010 - March 2012). Judges will look for success in terms of products sold and revenues generated.

3. New Technology Award - land, sea or air

This award will be given to the most significant technical development in the last 24 months (March 2010 - March 2012) in the field of component, software, testing or material development.

4. Advancement of Infrastructure Award - land, sea or air

This award is for outstanding advances in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, whether technical or as a commercial achievement, in the last 24 months (March 2010 - March 2012).

5. Best Academic Breakthrough Award - land, sea or air

This award is for outstanding breakthroughs in academic research in the last 24 months (March 2010 - March 2012).


SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

All submissions must be received by Friday March 2, 2012 and emailed directly to Teresa Henry at t.henry@IDTechEx.com.

In order to enter the awards please submit the following details in a word document - one submission for each award:
  • Name of organization
  • Award(s) entered
  • Title of project
  • Summary of project (approximately 200 words)
  • Explanation of why you should win the award with suitable evidence and examples of success (approximately 500 words)
  • Please provide a contact for publicity purposes
  • Please provide a contact for the project
  • The judges may ask for further details of submissions. Submissions should not contain confidential data. The winners will be the only companies named - other companies that apply will not be named.

    If you would like your company to be recognised for outstanding achievements in any of the categories above, please follow the entry instructions.
