3D printing consumer Application (3D Printing LIVE! USA 2014)

 

A final year university Student from the UK studying Robotics, I have spent the past year in a start-up company formed over a placement year with several other Students, I come from a Robotics background at university but now I am more heavily involved in the 3D printing industry with a focus on the consumer market. This past year I have been part of a team working on creating a desktop filament extruder-Strooder.

OmniDynamics is a Start-up company based in the UK, our first product, Strooder, is the world's first truly consumer plastic filament extruder. Designed to put creativity and control back into the maker's hands. Strooder converts plastic pellets and granules into a high quality 3D printer filament at a fraction of the cost, enabling you to create new forms of filament through experimentation of colour and material properties.
