There is considerable interest in the use of low temperature nano-particle inks for printing of electronic features for applications such as RFID and displays. In this presentation we will compare the performance of these IJ printed inks to convention processes such as etched copper and screen printed silver.

Speaker Bio

Mr. Chuck Edwards is the General Manager for Cabot Corporation's Printable Electronics and Displays Business (Cabot PEDs). Mr. Edwards has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the digital imaging and electronics industries. Prior to joining Cabot, Mr. Edwards was President of Litrex in Pleasanton, CA, a leading producer of high-precision inkjet equipment used to manufacture flat panel displays. He also served as Vice President of Marketing at RasterGraphics, (now OCE), a leading manufacturer of large format inkjet and electrostatic printers located in San Jose, CA. Mr. Edwards was also Founder and President of Onyx Graphics in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he developed PosterShop™ software used in commercial digital color printing. He has also worked at Synopsis and Intel.
