One of the important remaining on-site issues is the visual recognition of particular vehicles by human (drivers') eyes. Through this project, we will develop a new concept slip for finished-vehicle logistics by using active RFID with display function. This new concept will be more competitive than current auto-ID technologies such as barcodes, passive RFID, etc. This project is being supervised by Monohakobi Technology Institute (MTI), a 100% subsidiary of the global logistics company Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), in cooperation with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and with financial support from the Japanese government.
