Speaker Biography (David Mueller)

David Mueller has worked in the field of organic electronics for over 12 years. He received his diploma and PhD from the University of Munich, specializing in physical organic chemistry and organic light emitting diodes. After postdoctoral research at the University of Cologne, he joined the organic electronics team at Avecia, Manchester in 2004 and more recently, Merck, following the acquisition of the Avecia group in March 2005. At Merck's Technical Centre in Chilworth, Southampton, he is leading a group responsible for the development, formulation and integration of active and passive materials in organic electronic devices, thereby mainly focusing on organic transistors.
