Speaker Biography (Jit Bhattacharya)

Mr. Bhattacharya has served as Mission Motors' CEO since 2009. Jit holds a master's in mechanical engineering from Stanford and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Jit began his engineering career in the automation company with the Bay Area startup, Velocity11 (now part of Agilent). Jit has been working in cleantech since 2005 while designing and implemented solar energy systems for off-grid businesses in Africa. In 2007, Mr. Bhattacharya worked at the venture capital fund Spring Ventures where he focused on evolving technology trends in lithium-ion batteries and electric vehicles. Mr. Bhattacharya joined Mission Motors in 2008 as the company's Chief Operating Officer.
