Distributed electronics for sensing in high temperature environments, such as aero-engines, is a growing field. Energy harvesting in-situ offers the opportunity to make a step change in the design of high temperature electronics modules. This presentation covers an assessment of MEMS vibration energy harvesting technology for high temperature sensing applications.

16 years experience in research and development on interconnection and packaging of electronic devices and laser processing at the Welding Institute in the United Kingdom.
15 years in business development at GE Aviation Systems - Newmarket on developing capabilities for ruggedised displays, microsystem packaging and more recently high temperature and power electronics.
