Speaker Biography

Educated in Computer Science and Mathematics, Cristian Barcan has started working in 1997 for BASF Corporation in its North-American Headquarters in Mount Olive, New Jersey. He has held various project and business management positions in Information Technology, E-Commerce, and the Beverages departments. Due to his extensive IT knowledge combined with his business experience, Cristian has been given the responsibility in 2004 to manage traceability within the BASF European Fine Chemicals division. Since August 2005, Cristian is located in Colorado (USA) and has taken over global responsibility for the traceability project
