Company Profile (JOST FASHION STORES)

JOST FASHION STORES logo
For more than 100 years JOST FASHION STORES is a top address for fashion in south western Germany. In 4 multi label fashion stores customers find a selection of important fashion brands and high class services.

In cooperation with his suppliers JOST wants to optimize business processes within the store as well as along the apparel value chain.

Therefore the three fashion manufacturers LEMMI FASHION, GARDEUR and SEIDENSTICKER are shipping RFID tagged items to the Jost stores. All shipments are controlled via mobile handhelds in the distribution center. Furthermore each fashion store is equipped with mobile handhelds. The shop assistants are regularly taking the stocks in the store and share the inventory data with the suppliers.
The clear benefit is an increase of transparency of the actual stock situations that are the condition for correct replenishment and the prevention of out-of-stock situations.

Within the project the YOU-R RETAIL inventory solution based on YOU-R OPEN middleware is implemented and guarantees a successful supplier-retailer-cooperation with an efficient exchange of near real time inventory data.
