Stein develops new strategic core competencies for Qualcomm.
Over the last 18 years Stein has been involved in most aspects of the advancement of Qualcomm's business - from product development, to advanced R&D, to intellectual property strategy, to technology business development.
Stein currently commissions R&D internally and externally, drives the growth of new industries, and develops strategic relationships with next generation technology sources, including educational institutions, venture capital, startups, Fortune 100 companies, as well as US and foreign government research institutions (e.g., DARPA, E-ARPA, European governmental science foundations, etc.)
