Speaker Biography (Andreas Haegele)

Andreas Haegele, VP Portfolio, is responsible for shaping the M2M and Automotive wireless modules portfolio and roadmap of Gemalto M2M, one of the global leaders in cellular machine-to-machine (M2M) communication technology. He is currently based at the company's key research and development site for M2M located in Berlin, Germany. His objective is to build on Gemalto M2M's pioneering spirit and its 15 years of experience in M2M and Automotive and combine it with Gemalto's leadership in digital security, a key topic in the industry. Andreas wants to support the stakeholders in the Automotive industry to enable new mobility concepts and support the megatrends of the future, namely urbanization, subscription vs. ownership and the currently ongoing change in value system of people living in the Internet of Things.
