Speaker Biography (Meital Segev-Bar)

Meital Segev Bar is a Ph.D. student at The Laboratory for Nanomaterials-Based Devices (LNBD) under the supervision of Prof. Hossam Haick in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Her research is aimed towards the development of artificial skin that can sense touch, temperature and humidity. The sensing technology is based on molecularly encapsulated gold nanoparticles.
Meital received her B.A. in Chemistry and B.Sc in Material Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
