Speaker Biography (Mike Patterson)
With a background in startup leadership, finance, and international operations, Patterson decided to pursue a MBA in Entrepreneurial Management at the Wharton School. It was there he was introduced to the potential of a little-known company with a cause: Graphene Frontiers. Since then, he has elevated the status of the business and helped usher along essential patents and research. Now, the company is poised for key partnerships and business application.

Graphene Frontiers' production technology will enable electronics manufacturers to make high quality, low cost graphene films in production volumes for use as a transparent, flexible conductor in displays, touch screens, and thermal management solutions. The company's patent-pending atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition (APCVD) process solves the problems of scale and cost, and will allow companies to take their next generation mobile devices from prototype to production.
